<description>I just bought another PC computer. I&#039;ve been a PC - Windows user for 20 years (starting with Windows 3.11) now and I get more and more disgruntled by PC&#039;s.
Before I bought this computer, I was seriously looking into buying the Apple Ipad. I thought that a PC will give me more flexibility than an Apple device, since I&#039;m used to them and understand their approach to computing.
On the hand-held device, I opted for a Blackberry instead of the Iphone.
Having both devices now for 4-6 weeks, I believe it was the wrong choice and investment.
My new PC (Windows 7) gets me more frustrated than I get joy out of it. And the things where I thought a Windows PC has an advantage over a Mac just became so restricted that it simply is so frustrating that I sometimes feel like throwing the computer out the window (that would be the latest and final Windows version).
And this all starts with the small issues that you guys are mentioning in your reviews and comments.
Apple is gathering momentum from their &quot;recent&quot; launch and success of their Ipad and are now trying to carry it over to their Mac computers.
I&#039;m not an Apple fan - in the contrary - but, again, all those things of installing a camera on your computer, etc, are far too complicated and frustrating for a novice PS user - but whatever I can do on my PC here I can do easier on an Apple device with a cooler user interface and less frustration.
As it stands now, I hate my recently purchased PC and I have to recommend Apple over PC-Windows computers.
Same situation on the hand-held devices. For example, you can get Skype on the Iphone, but not on the Blackberry. That used to be the other way around.
Buy Apple.

<description>What really drives me nuts (and I am nuts :-) is that it should be really simple. Your mom should just connect the camera, get a popup, and choose &quot;email to my son&quot; as the option. There is no valid technical reason why that shouldn&#039;t be happening.

Each new generation of programmers adds more and more complexity in the mistaken belief that it is somehow better, meanwhile we never compact the old complexity into something more manageable. It&#039;s a never ending infinitely-awful onion architecture, that is rapidly growing out of control. The harder we labor, the worse it gets.
