When the party appeared in the wizard’s tower, Incanus found a “Raise dead” scroll he had for such occasions. He bent over Kriv’s body, applied some unguents and Kriv opened his eyes. Series of questions then emerged, like “What plates?”, “Which dragon?”, “Why is Yoderis tied up?”, “Where’s Kalista”. One by one, they told him about the latest events.

Incanus showed them a metal plate, very similar to the one they’ve found in the dragon’s cave. On this one, however, whole island was black. On the east side, something like claws were reaching out from the island to the east. From five circles on the top, only one was full. Incanus said that he thinks this plates could be important or at least very interesting. He also knows about another two plates. His friend, Thogrelor, had one when he last saw him. Another one was stolen from the city treasury three weeks ago. He said he will send a carrier pigeon to Thogrelor to ask him about the plates. Meanwhile, party could try and investigate the treasury theft.

First things first; Irgon and Vani wanted to go to the tavern to spend some time drinking and bragging about their adventures. But, when party entered the tavern, all eyes were not on them. In the corner, a bizarre figure stood on a table and was telling an adventuring stories. In his stories, this gangly character is a warlord and he is leading a bunch of farmers in many battles and slays various enemies. He is now looking for followers to lead them to victories.

The figure recognized the party as winners of the adventuring tournament and that they could be a great addition to his army. Vani knew they could use a warlord in the party but this one only had his stories and bad attitude; he also had a funny name: Trixie de Mimsy. Party members agreed that they should take the warlord with them but of course, as a party member not their leader. Trixie quickly agreed, happy that they together will smite the evil, and good also if needed.

As our group now has only three permanent players, we decided that we’ll add another character to the party. Nobody will lead him specifically, he’ll be shared amongst all players. His story is on the characters page.

After some drinking, party decided to take rest for the remainder of the day. They rented rooms in the tavern for a night.

Next morning they gathered for the breakfast and noticed Elsing is missing. When they checked his room, it was empty. They found a letter on his bed which read:

Dear friends,
I have urgent matters to attend and I must go alone. The secrecy is important so I need to leave in the middle of the night. One day, if I get a chance I should return.
Elsing

Nobody saw him leaving the tavern and following an elf who wants to stay hidden is near impossible. Nobody really knew Elsing. He never talked about himself so nobody had a clue why he left and where he could possibly go.
